Do you think that commercial booklets are better than brochures for your business? Think TWICE! Let’s Review by Rush Hour Printing and Graphics

Do you think that commercial booklets are better than brochures for your business? Think TWICE! Let’s Review by Rush Hour Printing and Graphics

Booklet printing is very often mistakenly referred to as Brochures, Magazine and maybe even catalogs. But, although they are also perfect tools for companies, events and products, we are going to be discussing Brochure printing and Booklet printing. There are subtle differences and we want to catch them before they affect our profits right!

Printed booklets have lots of pages, and they are bound like books, usually using saddle stiches or sometimes staples. Sometimes, you will request a print booklet for the perfection in the bound (pages are glued together). But, it is a bit pricey and requires at least 100 pages to be printed in order for it to be worth the effort of the printing process. Perfecting the bound on this booklet required width in order for the pages to be glued together perfectly, just like a hard cover book. Do you want to order this online? Do it now by clicking here

Brochures are typically folded and not bound, they usually have only like 2 to 4 pages, that’s it! There are different types of course, half-fold (folded once), tri-fold (folded twice and the most common type used), gate fold, z-fold, parallel fold and many others such as the barrel fold and the accordion fold.

Printed Booklets are preferred if you have a wide range of topics to discuss (such as product lists, or goals and visions, or photos with descriptions, etc.).

Printed Brochures are preferred if you need to get a single message out there because you launched a new product, or have a  new look for the company’s website, maybe even a new product concept and more.

Some people consider brochures a more essential part of the business marketing than booklets, but it depends on your needs and your goals!
