Easy strategies for Marketing with Business Cards by Rush Hour Printing and Graphics

Business cards are easy, and because of this many people don’t really put in the time to think about how to use them and get the most out of them. So, let’s talk strategy!

Strategy #1: Always include a testimonial! Why not tell people that other people think your business/service is amazing? If you were in real life trying to see if you wanted to buy one product over another, you would either check out its reviews or ask the clerk to see how ‘good’ the product is in comparison with other products, so testimonials are great! Use them!

Strategy #2: Make the Cards Multi-Functional! You want to get your clients using the business card for more than just reading your name and number. Maybe you can include a calendar in it, or a sticker they can put on their desk, or even a note (i.e., positive affirmations), just make sure they don’t lose the business card.

Strategy #3: Make it Visible that you have an Online Persona! Be Active, Be Present, Be Online. Use the card to link your business with the online world, because that is where most people are in anyways.

Strategy #4: Put Your Face on the Card! Why Not? Try something different. Put the manager’s picture, or even yours, but make sure it is personable.

Strategy #5: Support a Cause and Make it Known! Start supporting a cause in your community and make sure people know about it so that they too can support them. It shows a lot about your character.

Strategy #6: Pose a Challenge for Recipients! Maybe use a treasure hunt, or a game to win a discount. Make it fun. Make it interesting.

Strategy #7: Monitor it! Use QR Codes or SKUs to monitor the card and see how useful it was and what strategy worked.

Strategy #8: Use a beautiful design! Don’t neglect that part. You want to make sure it is appealing and catches the eye of the viewer. Spend some money on the design.

Strategy #9: Keep it simple! While you want to design it and fill it up with several of these strategies, you want to keep it as simple as possible so that it is clear what is being sold and how to get it.

Strategy #10: Use the Best Possible Material! The Business card needs to have quality material, maybe the texture, maybe the type of paper, etc. Read this article Want To Know The Best Ways To Make Postcards Stand Out? By Rush Hour Printing and Graphics. Make it work!
